It all began when co-founder Deborah Rivera-Wienhold discovered the popularity and therapeutic benefits of body pillows after experience difficulty sleeping. Her background in early childhood development and experience as a teacher of young children led her to believe that children could especially benefit from body if designed in a creative way, and the idea of DreamKuddle™ was born. With the help of co-founder Elizabeth Gradie Chinn’s sewing skills, and contracting with a professional seamstress, the initial prototypes were created and Deborah’s idea took form.

The pillow and covers are machine washable and I chose to flat dry the cover to prevent fuzz balls from forming. Fleece tends to dry very quickly so just drape it over a dryer rack for an hour or two and it will be ready to be smothered by your children once again! If your child has allergies or you're worried about moisture building up, there's a special lining that is specifically designed for the DreamKuddle so no worries! The protective liner will keep out nasty little dust mites & keep the actual pillow nice & dry.
