The socks are recommended on a low tumble dry setting but I forgot & let it go on medium. When I realized what I had done 40 minutes later when the cycle was complete, I feared I had damaged my new found wonders but the soft & stretchy cotton these socks are made from looked perfectly fine. They tightened up just a touch but didn't shrink to to a completely different size
