What is a Taggie exactly you ask? Well the imaginative company behind these little inventions define their products as security items based on the idea that children love to rub satin edges, clothing labels and tags. I've always noticed my child rubbing the soft tags on his plush toys but never thought much about it until a Taggie arrived at my door. Unsure how my child would react to a Taggie, I handed it over to him to find answers to my wonderings!
Upon grabbing the Taggie from my clutches he began inspecting each one of the smooth & vibrant-colored tags, rubbing them between his fingers, opening and closing his tiny hands over them & sticking his fingers through the loops! The small security blanket & book were easy to clean as I just threw them into the washer on a gentle cycle and let flat dry to prevent fuzz balls from forming on the fleece material. I was concerned whether my son would be able to pull one of the tags off and stick it into his mouth but the tags are securely sewn into the Taggies product so your child shouldn't accidentally swallow a tag and the tag's edges are quite soft so not to cause any cuts on your precious one's hands.
